Perceiving and seeing are two different things. Understanding is deeper than merely hearing. We can agree on shape, form, colour of what we see, but perception from one to another is a mystery.
There is the common flow of the music, the visual, and the understandings that also flow through all of us simply because the Big River that courses through the world began as one genesis. We seek beyond ourselves by first taking that journey within to find any name we choose to call the Power of the Universe. It is within ourselves and this power is within our command. All that is needed is to perceive, to understand through a New Mind.
The festive dances and rituals of the Philippines, Asia, the timbre of the drums of the North American First Nations,the forms of beauty, of life, and of the conscious, lie deep within us in our search within.
Our heredity is the template of our destiny, our talents, and abilities, and we are bound to it in some ways, but free of it in our growth and limited understanding. We only need to make that unremitted reach and embrace life beyond our limits.
